Summer Mom Makeover: Week 1 Challenge

This week’s challenge is simple: Do something nice for yourself, your kids, and your spouse.  This can be all at one time or all different.  It doesn’t have to cost a ton of money or take a lot of time. Remember to try to stick with your goal sheets from last week and focus on being the parent you want to be, you can do it!

Here are a few of my ideas for the week…


  • take a nap
  • get hair or nails done
  • do yoga
  • take a long hot shower alone
  • stay up late and watch anything you want on TV
  • read a book
  • go visit a friend
  • squeeze in a workout
  • ask your husband to do a chore you dislike


  • make a favorite meal
  • give them 30 of quite
  • go to a movie
  • turn off the TV
  • write a love note
  • let them sleep in


  • make a fun meal
  • take them to a park
  • do a craft they choose
  • take them on a special Mom date
  • go to a movie
  • make popcorn and watch a movie at home
  • go to the dollar store and let them pick something out
